In 1993 I started a career in Nursing, following which in 1996, I graduated from the Glendon School of Nursing as a Registered General Nurse. Later in 2003, I graduated from the Antigua State College as a Registered Midwife with a Diploma in Midwifery. Then in 2007 I graduated from the Jamaica School of Nurse Anaesthesia with a Diploma in Anaesthetics.
I am an active member of the Montserrat Nurses Association, having served in different areas such as Secretary, Vice President and now currently President. I attend the Bethany Methodist Church and I am currently President of the Bethany Women’s Group’ also Vice President of The Pink Ribbon Charity.
My interest in politics is not new or sudden. I have always had a love for politics from my youth, and I certainly believe as a young person I do have a lot to offer to the people of Montserrat. I have been motivated to join Team MCAP through my colleagues and supporters within the community, and also from my personal perspective and knowledge as to the great job the team has been doing over the years in rebuilding the Montserrat Community and taking the country forward. I personally believe in working with a Team as no man is an island and no one person can get the job done on their own.
